Ultrabook – The New Possession

PC Industry has undergone some major innovations in the last few years, ranging from lighter weight laptops to tablets making life easier & convenient when it comes to mobility & accessibility. Though, the penetration of tablets in the market is extensively high, but it still doesn’t answer the question when it comes to productivity, when compared to traditional laptops & desktops. With such an issue, the need of the hour was to innovate something which should be an amalgam of a laptop & a tablet & then came the Ultrabooks.

When the concept of Ultrabook, was first disclosed by Intel, the market was keen on the idea with a lethal combination of the features of both tablet & laptop. Though after the launch, it couldn’t reach the levels it was expected to, but with the launch of Windows 8, it is expected to change the vision for Ultrabook & not only the operating system, but also the newer convertible designs of Ultrabook.

Comparing with tablet & laptop, these differences do matter. Ultrabook is much lighter & thinner, aesthetically appealing. The hardware used on an Ultrabook is Intel ULV platform which ensures extended battery life & delivers good performance & efficiency. Also, in order to save space; the battery is encased & non-removable, which definitely is not the case with a Laptop. With its processor, productivity & efficiency being the USP, it is sooner going to penetrate the market at a faster rate.

In-case you are looking forward to have one; you should look at these models:
